All of our Ultimate Sleep Systems Air Beds have Optional, Matching Foundations. We Highly Recommend you purchase a Totally Flat and Firm surface for your New Ultimate Sleep System Air Mattress to lie on. The Matching Foundation has a layer of Masonite over the slats, covered with the Matching Fabric of your Air Bed. The profile of the Matching Foundation is approximately 7.5 inches. All Queen and King, Matching "Wooden" Foundations are "Split" which means that there are 2 Half Foundations, which make it much easier to maneuver through tighter spaces. If you have a Good, existing, box spring or a Good, existing, water bed frame, you can use these. The choice is up to you! Optional BedLegs™ are not included.
